画像保持者の側から:ボドリアン図書館Imaging Services部

ボドリアン図書館のImaging Services部は1940年代に写真スタジオ部門として創設され、現在OULS (Oxford University Library Services)全体の所蔵資料の画像作成・使用許可に関する全てのサービスを取り仕切っており、年間59,000点以上の画像供給を行っている。画像使用許可取得について当部のガイドラインの観点から考慮する。

University of Oxford: the Image Holder's Side of the Story: Bodleian's Imaging Services

Originally started as the Photographic Studio of the Bodleian Library in 1940's, Imaging Services department is now the primary provider of photographic prints, paper prints from microfilm and digital files within the Oxford University Library Services (OULS), which now produces over 59,000 items per year. The department, operating under the constraints of UK Copyright Law also administers permissions to use these images in electronic and non-electronic forms. The ways the Bodleian Library view image use will be examined and the procedures of obtaining permissions to use images will be illustrated along with the Library's guidelines.
