オスロ大学内の日本関係資料
ノルウェー、オスロ大学博物館及びオスロ大学図書館のデジタル化された日本関係の資料に関して紹介する。
大学博物館には、甲冑をはじめ、様々な武具を含む工芸品等があるが、多くは博物館に寄贈されたものである。大学博物館では、2025年秋に既にデジタル化されデータベースで公開されている資料をいくつかのテーマでデジタル展示を始めた。その一つは、17領の日本の甲冑のサイトである。英語、ノルウェー語に加えて日本語のサイトも併設した。これに先立ち、2023年には6か月間「Samurai」という展示があったが、この展示は３Dのデジタル展示として、現在もウェブ上で公開している。
加えて、オスロ大学図書館に所蔵されている、主に江戸期の版本とそれ以外の貴重資料がある。2023年年秋に正式にデジタル化と研究支援のワーキンググループが設けられ、これらのコレクションを徐々にデジタル化し、Alvinというスウェーデンのウプサラ大が開発したプラットホーム上で公開を始めた。現時点で公開されているオスロ大学図書館の資料及び、Alvinと内容にについても触れる。
Digital platforms for Japanese collections at University of Oslo
This presentation introduces digitize Japan-related collections at the Museum of Cultural History of University of Oslo and the University of Oslo Library.
The University Museum preserves a diverse range of Japanese handcrafted objects, including suits of armor and other weapons, many of which have entered the collection through donations. In autumn 2025, the museum launched a portal of series of themes based on items already digitized in its collection database. One of these is focus on seventeen suits of Japanese armor, the sites are available in English, Norwegian, Japanese. In addition, 3D “Samurai” exhibition is available which was held at the museum in 2023.
The University of Oslo Library holds mainly Edo-period woodblock print books. In autumn 2023, a working group “Digitisation and Special Collections” was formally established and now digitization of these books are started. Our digitised materials are registered and accessible via “Alvin,” a platform developed by Uppsala University in Sweden for cultural heritage materials. Introduce about Japan-related resources currently available from University of Oslo Library, and other Japanese related collections in Alvin.
